Monday Stats

I know I already blogged today so forgive me! But like I said in the post earlier today Monday's I'll be posting my states and eventually when I grow some bigger balls I'll share my photos. LOL. But I also wanted to show you guys my equipment, and new shoes I'll be using as well.

Monday February 19 States...

Weight:
175.2 lbs

Measurements:
Biceps - (R) 12" / (L) 12"
Forearms - (R) 9.5" / (L) 9.5"
Chest - 37"
Stomach (at hip bone) - 37"
Hips - 43"
Thigh - (R) 25" / (L) 25"
Calves - (R) 15.75" / (L) 15.75"

Now I already have Beachbody OnDemand, so I already have access to all the Beachbody workouts. However I didn't have the bands or sliders I needed to use during Little Obsessed and 80 Day Obsession.

I looked at purchasing the ones through Beachbody which I had 3 different options.

Option A: Buy the bands (3 bands) for $15 and the sliders for $30 ... $45 total

Option B: Buy the Obsessed Starter pack that comes with the bands, sliders and containers (which I don't need) for $60 total

OR I could buy the bands and sliders from UK Amazon.

I got these bands (4 bands) for $21 along with a travel pouch to put them in. And I bought these sliders for $21 ... so $42 total and I got them within 5 days of ordering instead of waiting for Beachbody which usually take a few weeks for me.

Plus the sliders and bands are cute colors! HA!

So here we go. Time to start this journey. The biggest struggle this week for me will be the new meal plan but I got this guys. The vision of my goal is burnt into my brain. I won't stop or fail!

Stop saying "hope"..

One of the words that I try to catch my clients or coaches from saying is “Hope”. Not because I don’t believe in the word but I don’t believe in it as a STRATEGY to get what we want.
When I hear someone say “I hope this workout program works for me.” Or, “I hope I can hit my business goals this month” it’s like NAILS ON A CHALKBOARD for me!

There’s no HOPING! There’s choice. You either do, or you do not. It’s not about the results.
It’s about the journey.
It’s about the effort.
It’s about the hustle.
It’s about the belief.

You might not lose exactly 10 lbs.
You might not make exactly $100.

We don’t always have control over the EXACT outcome. But that’s not the point.
The point is to stop “hoping” your way through life and make a CHOICE to succeed through your effort.
The rest is up to God ‪#‎girlboss‬ and he’s GOT YOUR BACK so trust in that.
You with me on this???? If you are hit that “share” button sister and spread the word!

The Truth About Why You Are Still Fat Or Not Where You Want To Be Yet! #3

#3. You Don’t Know What a Treat Is

Treat definition: an event or item that is out of the ordinary and gives great pleasure

You know the part about great pleasure. Chocolate tastes good. Wine goes down smooth. Nachos and wings are delicious. Cookies should be their own food group.
But you missed a part I think.

‘An event or item that is out of the ordinary’

~100 years ago you had cake on your birthday and maybe a family member or two.

~70 years ago you had a milkshake a few times a year at the drugstore soda fountain.

~20 years ago you ordered Chinese food (the nasty deep fried North American version) a couple times a year as a family or at a party.

Today is different. EVERY SINGLE FUCKING DAY you are exposed to ‘treats’. Donuts and chocolate milk on the way home from your kids sporting events. Trays of cookies in the office lounge. Bags of chips in the cupboard.

Every. Single. Day.

That’s without dinners and events every weekend or birthday parties, anniversaries, baby showers, sports events, holidays, and the plethora of celebratory events.

‘Treats’ are something out of the ordinary. If it happens more than once a month it is no longer out of the ordinary. Stop saying treat. You aren’t having a treat.

It comes down to sacrifice and commitment, like we talked about earlier. Come on. You’re a grown ass adult making their own decisions. Don’t delude yourself in an attempt to justify the fact you are fully responsible for the shit you plow into your mouth.

You are just eating shit. And that’s fine. I don’t care. It’s your life. Don’t cry over the blubber hanging over your belt though.

***Note: Everything I've written about so far is the truth. And I don't write it to piss you off. I do it to fire you up. I do this for MYSELF too. I've been slacking horrible when it comes to food. So just know that I take what I write to heart myself and I'm changing my own ways.***
